オーストリアの作曲家、フランツ・シューベルトが愛用していた「Kブリッジ」スタイルのメガネです。そのクラシカルなデザインに、現代の感性を織り交ぜたアイウェアが誕生しました。

このコンセプトは、デザイナーが娘の誕生をきっかけに、シューベルトの音楽と人生に触れたことから生まれました。
彼と娘、そしてブランド名など、彼の生活に繰り返し現れる「K」の文字がデザインに影響を与えています。

フロントはKの文字をもとに描き起こされ、眉からブリッジ下を段落としの技法により部分的に削ぎ落とす事でkearnyが解釈するKのデザインが浮かび出すよう表現しました。

フレームはオクタゴン型で、素材はシューベルトに由来しヨーロッパ製の洗練されたアセテート生地を使用しています。

永遠の音楽と現代的なデザインが調和し、文化と物語を反映するアイテムです。

This eyewear draws inspiration from the “K-bridge” style favored by Austrian composer Franz Schubert. It merges classical design with modern sensibilities, born from a timeless aesthetic.

The concept was conceived when the designer, profoundly moved by Schubert’s music and life after the birth of his daughter, sought to capture that inspiration through design. The letter “K” appears in the designer’s name, his daughter’s name, and the brand name, making it a recurring and significant motif.

The front of the frame is designed around the shape of the letter “K,” using a distinctive technique that carves a stepped structure from the brow to the lower bridge—bringing to life kearny’s unique interpretation of “K.”

Featuring an octagonal silhouette, the frame is crafted from refined European acetate, paying tribute to Schubert’s roots.

A harmony of eternal music and contemporary design—this piece is a celebration of culture, artistry, and personal story.
