オーストリアの作曲家、フランツ・シューベルトが愛用していた「Kブリッジ」スタイルのメガネです。そのクラシカルなデザインに、現代の感性を織り交ぜたアイウェアが誕生しました。

このコンセプトは、デザイナーが娘の誕生をきっかけに、シューベルトの音楽と人生に触れたことから生まれました。
彼と娘、そしてブランド名など、彼の生活に繰り返し現れる「K」の文字がデザインに影響を与えています。

フロントはKの文字をもとに描き起こされ、
眉からブリッジ下を段落としの技法により部分的に削ぎ落とす事でkearnyが解釈するKのデザインが浮かび出すよう表現しました。

フレームはウェリントン型で、素材はシューベルトに由来しヨーロッパ製の洗練されたアセテート生地を使用しています。

永遠の音楽と現代的なデザインが調和し、文化と物語を反映するアイテムです。

This eyewear is inspired by the “K-bridge” style favored by Austrian composer Franz Schubert. Born from a timeless aesthetic, it blends classical design with a modern sensibility.

The concept was born when the designer, moved by Schubert’s music and life upon the birth of his daughter, found a deep personal connection. The letter “K”—which appears in the designer’s name, his daughter’s name, and the brand name—emerges as a recurring motif, playing a key role in the design.

The front of the frame is based on the form of the letter “K”, with a unique stepped carving technique from the brow to the lower bridge that reveals kearny’s own interpretation of the “K” motif.

The frame takes on a Wellington shape and is crafted from refined European acetate—a material chosen in homage to Schubert’s roots.

This piece is a harmonious fusion of eternal music and contemporary design, embodying culture and storytelling in its form.
