オーストリアの作曲家、フランツ・シューベルトが愛用していた「Kブリッジ」スタイルのメガネです。そのクラシカルなデザインに、現代の感性を織り交ぜたアイウェアが誕生しました。

このコンセプトは、デザイナーが娘の誕生をきっかけに、シューベルトの音楽と人生に触れたことから生まれました。
彼と娘、そしてブランド名など、彼の生活に繰り返し現れる「K」の文字がデザインに影響を与えています。

フロント部分はKの文字をベースに再構築し、ワタリからブリッジにかけて貼り合わせることで、kearny独自の“Kブリッジ”を表現しました。ツーブリッジでありながら、オクタゴン型のフォルムが、クラシックとモダンの絶妙なバランスを醸し出します。

永遠の音楽と現代的なデザインが調和し、文化と物語を反映させたアイテムです。

This eyewear features the “K-Bridge” style, famously worn by Austrian composer Franz Schubert. A classic design reimagined with a contemporary sensibility, it bridges past and present in perfect harmony.

The concept was born when the designer, inspired by the birth of his daughter, discovered Schubert’s music and life. The recurring appearance of the letter “K” in the lives of Schubert, the designer’s daughter, and even the brand name influenced the design process.

The front structure has been reinterpreted based on the letter “K.” By layering materials from the endpiece to the bridge, kearny’s original “K-Bridge” is brought to life. While technically a double-bridge design, the soft octagonal shape creates a subtle balance between classic and modern styles.

This is a piece where timeless music and modern design come together, reflecting culture and storytelling in one refined form.
