オーストリアの作曲家、フランツ・シューベルトが愛用していた「Kブリッジ」スタイルのメガネです。そのクラシカルなデザインに、現代の感性を織り交ぜたアイウェアが誕生しました。

このコンセプトは、デザイナーが娘の誕生をきっかけに、シューベルトの音楽と人生に触れたことから生まれました。
彼と娘、そしてブランド名など、彼の生活に繰り返し現れる「K」の文字がデザインに影響を与えています。

フロント部分はKの文字をベースに再構築し、ワタリからブリッジにかけて貼り合わせることで、kearny独自の“Kブリッジ”を表現しました。ツーブリッジでありながら、ラウンド型の柔らかなフォルムが、クラシックとモダンの絶妙なバランスを醸し出します。

永遠の音楽と現代的なデザインが調和し、文化と物語を反映させたアイテムです。

These eyeglasses feature the “K-bridge” style once favored by Austrian composer Franz Schubert. A timeless, classical design has been reimagined through a modern lens, resulting in a new piece of eyewear.

The concept was born when the designer, inspired by the birth of his daughter, was drawn to Schubert’s music and life. The letter “K” — appearing repeatedly in the lives of the designer, his daughter, and the brand name — became a key influence in the design.

The front of the frame was reconstructed based on the shape of the letter “K,” with layered parts connecting from the endpiece to the bridge, expressing kearny’s signature “K-bridge.” While technically a double bridge, the soft, rounded silhouette creates a refined balance between classic and modern aesthetics.

This is a piece where eternal music and contemporary design harmonize, reflecting both culture and personal story.
