2015年、デザイナーがサンフランシスコのcoit towerを訪れた際に着想を得て誕生した「coit」。
ブランドの原点に立ち返り、シンプルなウェリントン型を追求する中で生まれた一本は
当時、kearnyを初めて形にした職人の手によって製作され、kearnyとしても思入れの深いフレームです。

そのデザインをベースに今回、初めてセルロイドを使用したツーブリッジフレームへアップデートし、約10年の時を越え「coitⅡ」として蘇りました。

玉型はシンプルなWellington型ですが、ツーブリッジにしたことで個性もプラスされた眼鏡になりました。

kearnyの初心を彷彿とさせる一本であり、またセルロイドを扱うことが難しくなった今だからこそ、ぜひ手に取っていただきたい特別なフレームです。

In 2015, “coit” was born from inspiration the designer gained while visiting Coit Tower in San Francisco.
Returning to the brand’s origins, this piece was created through the pursuit of a simple Wellington shape. It was crafted by the very artisan who first brought kearny to life, making it a deeply meaningful frame for the brand.

Based on this original design, it has now been updated into a double-bridge frame using celluloid for the first time.
After nearly a decade, it has been revived as “coitⅡ.”

While the lens shape remains a simple Wellington, the addition of the double bridge brings a distinctive character to the frame.

This piece evokes the very beginnings of kearny, and at a time when working with celluloid has become increasingly difficult, it stands as a truly special frame we hope you will experience firsthand.
