オーストリアの作曲家、フランツ・シューベルトが愛用していた「Kブリッジ」スタイルのメガネです。そのクラシカルなデザインに、現代の感性を織り交ぜたアイウェアが誕生しました。

このコンセプトは、デザイナーが娘の誕生をきっかけに、シューベルトの音楽と人生に触れたことから生まれました。
彼と娘、そしてブランド名など、彼の生活に繰り返し現れる「K」の文字がデザインに影響を与えています。

フロントはKの文字をもとに描き起こされ、眉からブリッジ下を段落としの技法により部分的に削ぎ落とす事でkearnyが解釈するKのデザインが浮かび出すよう表現しました。

フレームはレモンの形から着想を得て作成され、
素材はシューベルトに由来しヨーロッパ製の洗練されたアセテート生地を使用しています。

永遠の音楽と現代的なデザインが調和し、文化と物語を反映するアイテムです。

These glasses feature the “K-bridge” style once favored by Austrian composer Franz Schubert. Their classical design has been reimagined with a modern sensibility to create a new kind of eyewear.

The concept was born when the designer, inspired by the birth of his daughter, encountered Schubert’s music and life. The recurring presence of the letter “K” in Schubert’s world—through himself, his daughter, and the brand name—has influenced the design.

The front of the frame was drawn from the letter “K.” By partially shaving down the brow to the lower bridge using a stepped technique, the design reveals kearny’s interpretation of “K.”

The frame takes inspiration from the shape of a lemon, and the material is refined European acetate, chosen in homage to Schubert.

This piece harmonizes timeless music with contemporary design, embodying both culture and story.
