オーストリアの作曲家、フランツ・シューベルトが愛用していた「Kブリッジ」スタイルのメガネです。そのクラシカルなデザインに、現代の感性を織り交ぜたアイウェアが誕生しました。

このコンセプトは、デザイナーが娘の誕生をきっかけに、シューベルトの音楽と人生に触れたことから生まれました。
彼と娘、そしてブランド名など、彼の生活に繰り返し現れる「K」の文字がデザインに影響を与えています。

フロントはKの文字をもとに描き起こされ、眉からブリッジ下を段落としの技法により部分的に削ぎ落とす事でkearnyが解釈するKのデザインが浮かび出すよう表現しました。

フレームはブラウン管TVの形から着想を得て作成され、
素材はシューベルトに由来しヨーロッパ製の洗練されたアセテート生地を使用しています。

永遠の音楽と現代的なデザインが調和し、文化と物語を反映するアイテムです。

This eyewear takes inspiration from the “K-bridge” style glasses beloved by Austrian composer Franz Schubert. The design blends classical aesthetics with a contemporary sensibility.

The concept was born when the designer, moved by the birth of his daughter, began to immerse himself in Schubert’s music and life. The recurring presence of the letter “K” in Schubert’s world—through him, his daughter, and the brand name—became a key influence on the design.

The front frame was sketched from the form of the letter “K.” By partially shaving down the brow line and the area beneath the bridge using a step-down technique, the design reveals kearny’s interpretation of the “K.”

The frame shape was inspired by the form of a cathode-ray tube television, and the material employs refined European acetate, chosen in homage to Schubert.

An item where timeless music meets modern design, reflecting both culture and story.
