オーストリアの作曲家、フランツ・シューベルトが愛用していた「Kブリッジ」スタイルのメガネです。そのクラシカルなデザインに、現代の感性を織り交ぜたアイウェアが誕生しました。

このコンセプトは、デザイナーが娘の誕生をきっかけに、シューベルトの音楽と人生に触れたことから生まれました。彼と娘、そしてブランド名など、彼の生活に繰り返し現れる「K」の文字がデザインに影響を与えています。

フロントはKの文字をもとに描き起こされ、眉からブリッジ下を段落としの技法により部分的に削ぎ落とす事でkearnyが解釈するKのデザインが浮かび出すよう表現しました。

フレームは太刀魚の頭から着想を得て作成され、
素材はシューベルトに由来しヨーロッパ製の洗練されたアセテート生地を使用しています。 

永遠の音楽と現代的なデザインが調和し、文化と物語を反映するアイテムです。

These are “K-bridge” style glasses once favored by Austrian composer Franz Schubert. A new eyewear piece has been born, blending classical design with contemporary sensibility.

The concept originated when the designer, inspired by the birth of his daughter, began to explore Schubert’s music and life. The recurring letter “K” found in Schubert’s world—through his daughter, his personal life, and even the brand’s name—served as a key influence in the design.

The front design was drawn from the shape of the letter “K.” By partially shaving down the area from the brow to beneath the bridge using a stepped technique, kearny’s interpretation of the “K” form emerges.

The frame was inspired by the head of a cutlassfish, and the material—a refined European acetate—was chosen in reference to Schubert’s origins.

It is an item where timeless music and modern design resonate in harmony, reflecting both culture and story.
